September 2025 Playlist

September has been full of really interesting listens, but this is a very personal list, as it reflects my memories of the month. In a nutshell: you won't find new releases here, but rather old songs and a small recap of what I experienced during September.

I'm your man - Lisa Moorish

Here's is a song I came across while flipping through an old '90s music magazine. It's pop with a black-influenced sound, typical of the late '90s. I found it really cool!

On the bible - Deuce

A '90s track that sounds like it came straight out of the '80s... but with a gospel style chorus. New guilty pleasure for me!

Tri Martolod - Alan Stivell

A dreamy Breton autumn vibe. This beautiful version makes you want to pack your bags and wander through Brittany, watching the leaves fall.

Still into you - Paramore

I had to learn this song to join a jam session. At first, I hated it because I just couldn’t sing it: me and the Hayley Williamns have two completely opposite voices! I wanted to get it out of my head after the jam session, but instead, I keep humming it.

Una notte e forse mai più - Eiffel 65

At the beginning of the month, I went to see Eiffel 65 in concert in my hometown. I never imagined I’d get to see them live right where I live! In the ’90s, I loved them and knew all their songs by heart… I realized I still remember them. This one, though, really moved me to hear it live.

Una musica può fare - Max Gazzè

Another song I learned for a jam session that... I played on the bodhran! It was really fun and made me rediscover this song, which back then I didn’t really pay much attention to.

Last resort - Papa Roach

It’s one of my brother’s favorite songs. When we got the chance to sing it at a jam session because the singer who was supposed to do it didn’t show up, we just went for it! The best part is that singing something crossover again really took me back to the old days when I used to do that genre. I really miss it.
